3. User Accounts and Registration

4.3 Course Completion

To receive a certificate of completion, you must meet the course requirements as outlined in the specific course curriculum. Certificates are issued electronically and may be downloaded from your account dashboard.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing and Payment

Course prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment must be made in full at the time of enrollment unless otherwise specified. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website.

5.2 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all courses. To request a refund:

  • Submit your refund request within 30 days of purchase
  • Provide a reason for the refund request
  • Have completed less than 30% of the course content

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Certificates issued before refund requests will be invalidated.

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change course prices at any time. Price changes will not affect courses already purchased, but will apply to future purchases.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Copy, distribute, or share course content with others
  • Create derivative works based on our content
  • Use our content for commercial purposes
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Remove or alter copyright notices

6.3 User-Generated Content

By submitting content to our platform (such as forum posts, reviews, or feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

7. Prohibited Uses

9.3 Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUIDE DRIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Guide Drive, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Guide Drive regarding your use of our services.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

15.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government actions.
